Auraistic Aura— The Artist

Self-taught.
Unstoppable.

Shruti Soni paints the way others breathe — out of necessity, with feeling.

Shruti Soni — Artist

✦   Artist Introduction   ✦

Art is not her choice
it’s her voice

Shruti Soni is more than an Artist — she is a force. Self-taught and medal-winning, she has built a practice rooted in emotional honesty and relentless curiosity. For Shruti, painting is not a career choice. It is meditation. It is memory. It is the only language that says everything at once.

What began as a childhood pull toward colour and canvas has grown into a mature, distinctive visual voice — one shaped by studio discipline, deep observation, and an unshakeable belief that art should move you before it impresses you.

Art should make you feel before it makes you think.

Inspiration
Nature as Muse

Nature as her muse

A significant source of inspiration for her work is nature, which she interprets through vivid colors and dynamic forms. Many of her paintings capture the serene beauty of natural landscapes, reflecting her deep connection to the environment.

Craft
Endless Mediums

A style without limits

Her painting style isn't restricted to a single medium; instead, she channels her creativity through a wide variety of mediums, including but not limited to acrylic, watercolor, poster colors, gouache, and mixed media, expertly handling materials like air-drying clay, strings, tissue paper, and pens. Another addition to her years of expertise in this field are the several group exhibitions with senior artists.

Free Lessons

Free art lessons — nurturing the next generation

A few years ago, she started teaching kids aged between five to fifteen how to paint as a passion project. In the true spirit of inspiring them, she refused to charge them for her lessons. As part of her lessons, she got her students to participate in national and international level competitions, in which they won more than twenty medals in a span of just two years. Her guiding principle has always been to nurture and inspire creativity in children.

Focus, approach,
and creative vision

Shruti's work lives at the intersection of emotion and craft. She focuses on expressive portraiture, nature-based studies, and layered mixed-style works — each piece a conversation between the artist and the viewer, built with patience and intention.

Her approach is emotion-led but technically grounded — refined composition, controlled layering, and a sensitivity to colour that makes every canvas feel alive. The influence of Indian visual culture runs quietly through everything she makes.

For collectors and collaborators, Shruti is open to commissions, exhibitions, and creative partnerships that share her belief in art as genuine human connection.
